Some Facts about Little Athletics

Little Athletics is a national organisation catering for over 80,000 children in all States and Territories of Australia. The Queensland Little Athletics Association Inc. is a member Association of the Australian Little Athletics.

Little Athletics provides:

• Opportunity for organised recreational activity for children from Under 6 to Under 17 years in which personal improvement overshadows competitive results
• Opportunity for the achievement of all participants to be recognised regardless of competitive ability
• Opportunity for the inexperienced participant to learn athletic skills

About Us

Mt Gravatt Little A’s have been in operation for 50 years (since 1974).  We look forward to celebrating our 50th year in the 2024/2025 season.

Our centre runs a Winter/Spring season. The first week of competition usually being the last Saturday of June/July school holidays and finishing in early December. This arrangement avoids the worst of the summer heat for the competitors.
